Welcome to the VENOM Musicianship competition, streamed live on Sunday, December 17 at 8:00 PM Eastern!
We are dedicated to celebrating musicians of all genres, instruments, and talents! Any vocalist or instrumentalist is welcome to enter. The event will be hosted by VENOM’s own Dan Romero, and will feature judges from the VENOM staff.
Prizes
Three prizes will be available.
- Electric guitar pack ($600 value): ghost white Ibanez GIO electric guitar (signed by Tony Gebhard,) Strymon Iridium Amp and IR Cab Simulator Effects Pedal, and patch cable
- Signed Ukulele ($100 value): Kala Makala Waterman Soprano Ukulele (signed by Precious Perez)
- $50 cash
The first place winner will be able to select the prize of their choice, second place will select next, and the third place winner will receive the remaining prize. You must be present to win.
Contest Guidelines
- All contestants must submit their performance in advance via the form below. Only Youtube videos or direct download links via Dropbox or WeTransfer will be accepted. The form will close on December 15 at 11:59 PM Eastern.
- Your performance does not have to be exclusively recorded for this competition, but we ask that it is from 2023.
- Your performance can be a cover or an original song.
- Your performance must be 4 minutes or less in length.
- Effects and processing are completely fine. This includes pitch correction.
- No comping! We ask that your performance be recorded as a single take so we can get an authentic representation of your musicianship.
- VENOM staff may not enter this competition.
- You must be present during the competition on Sunday, December 17, 2023 to win.
- All performers must be 18 or older
